SHINee copies U-KISS again.
The SHINee world album was released on August 28, 2008.
U-kiss didn’t release any mini albums or albums until September 3, 2008
Thank you for your time
I hope you have proof before you accuse someone next time
(◕‿◕✿)
U-KISS’s first mini-album was released in 2008, it was titled New Generation.
Given that SME has had the gall to not only imitate U-KISS’s nineties retrogression for SHINee’s foray in to Japan - watch U-KISS’s I Like You music video and you shall come to the right conclusion - it is not hard to believe that SME copied U-KISS’s jumping pose for SHINee’s promotional activities.I believe I have the real copy cats of U-KISS’s jumping shot right here.
Seriously though, jumping for a photo is not something U-KISS can patent.
Now what you have here is appropriation.
U-KISS appropriated jumping from the American musical scene just as Madonna appropriated vogue-ing from the gay African-American community.
However, as U-KISS was the first to appropriate such a move and bring it to the popular music scene in Korea they lay claim to it. Now, any idol can pose-jump in their promotional material if he or she pleases/entertainment company make them as long as they make it clear that their jumping is in homage to U-KISS’s appropriation. Just like Lady Gaga can plaster a blue lightening bolt on her face without being called a thief because she has made it clear routinely that she is paying tribute to David Bowie - her inspiration.
Has SHINee paid tribute to U-KISS?
No, they have not.
When you don’t cite your source it’s theft.
SHINee, like many, copies U-KISS.Actually, if you want to get technical, the jump shot has been used before. During 2006-2007 during TVXQ’s promotion of ‘O’ Ban Jun Hap they were in Paris and there they did a photoshoot which had a jump shot in it. I’m not sure if you’re just butthurt because other idol groups get more publicity than U-Kiss or actually think an argument like this holds any ground but I don’t think any member of U-Kiss, past or present, would appreciate you accusing others of something as meaningless as this.
Who is TVXQ?
I wasn’t going to reblog this post again because I thought you were seriously a really amazing troll, but apparently you’re serious. So like I said. SHINee’s album was released in August 2008 whereas Ukiss didn’t release anything until September 2008 which means “The shinee world” album was released before “New Generation”. Meaning SHINee had their photoshoot taken well before Ukiss.
PS. The fact that you think Ukiss “owns” the jumping pose is hilarious.
Holy fuckmonkeys, why does this argument even exist?
